ABOUT ENODE The grid was built for predictable, centralised power. Today it's absorbing intermittent supply from grid scale solar and wind, alongside dynamic demand from EVs, heat pumps, and home batteries. The missing piece is software that can connect and orchestrate these devices at scale. Enode https://enode.com provides the infrastructure layer that makes this possible. Our Connect https://enode.com/connect API gives energy companies a single integration to 1000+ devices across 80+ brands. Our optimisation https://enode.com/optimize tooling gives energy companies the building blocks to manage those devices locally - think smart charging for EVs. Our Flex https://enode.com/flex product turns those connected devices into a flexible, controllable asset for energy companies. We work with device manufacturers across the energy hardware ecosystem - from EV brands to heat pump and solar inverter producers. Our customers are energy retailers, utilities, and traders building the next generation of energy services. We're backed by Y Combinator, Lowercarbon Capital, and Creandum. The decisions made now will shape how the energy system gets built. We're looking for people who take ownership, move fast, and care deeply about the role technology can play in the energy transition. AI IS FUNDAMENTAL TO HOW WE WORK AI is how a team our size keeps rewiring the way we work, fast enough to match what our mission demands. We look for people who reach for AI as a reflex and who can drop a habit that used to work. People who care about unblocking others, not just about what they ship themselves. If that's not quite how you work yet but it's the direction you're heading, we'd still like to hear from you. We assess this in our interview process, alongside everything else we look at. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Enode's infrastructure sits inside some of the most ambitious consumer energy products in Europe. The customer platform is how our customers and OEM partners manage, monitor and scale their integrations with us. Right now it's operational tooling. This role exists to turn it into a strategic layer that makes Enode indispensable. You will define what the customer platform becomes: a proactive intelligence layer that helps our customers connect, optimise and scale their asset pools, and helps OEM partners understand how their hardware performs in real flexibility use cases. We serve three sides of an ecosystem: the energy companies that integrate us, the consumers whose chargers, batteries and inverters run through Enode, and the OEMs who manufacture those assets. The platform needs to work for all three. You will hold that vision from first principles through to commercial outcome. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL OWN: - The platform vision and roadmap. Define the strategy, defend it under challenge, and frame it commercially around retention, expansion and cost to serve. - Time to value. Own onboarding as a product. Define what "activated" looks like at both layers: the customer's integration is live, and their end users are connecting and staying connected. The second layer is where B2B2C platforms quietly fail. You will fix that. - Self serve at scale. Ruthlessly prioritise automation and in-platform guidance to reduce cost to serve as the customer base grows. - Data as a product. Lead discovery and delivery of insights that help customers evaluate performance, spot churn risk, and make evidence-based decisions. Extend that intelligence to OEM partners. - Positioning and enablement. The messaging, launch craft and commercial enablement are yours. - Deployment of AI within the Product Organisation. Build with AI as a part of how you work, from discovery through to spec, and turn what you learn into tools, skills and processes the rest of the team picks up, so the leverage is shared rather than personal. KEY SUCCESS METRICS: - Time from sign-up to first live use case. - Activation at both layers. - Self serve resolution rate trending down as the base grows. - OEM partners deepening their integrations. - A clear line from your north-star metrics to retention, expansion and P&L. THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF: - You have significant B2B product experience on platform, developer tooling or B2B SaaS, ideally in a B2B2C structure where your direct customer and the end-user were different people. - You connect product metrics to commercial outcomes, and you've launched across Sales, Support and Customer Success in a way other teams have borrowed from. - You understand APIs, SDKs and data flows, and communicate fluently with engineers. You test-drive what you ship. - You use AI in your day-to-day product work and have a developed, defensible view on where it belongs in a product and where it doesn't. - Your specs and frameworks become reference points for other PMs. You are direct about where the bar isn't high enough. - Bonus: energy tech, IoT or climate experience; experience shipping LLM-powered product capabilities; experience where documentation and onboarding were the growth channel. WHAT WE OFFER: - Opportunity to join and impact an early-stage climate tech startup with global aspirations as we scale. - A mission-driven, fun and caring environment with high drive and ambition. - Competitive compensation, including a very attractive employee option program - you’re part of our journey. - Access to best in class AI tooling, we think the ceiling on what a small team can do has fundamentally shifted, and we want you to feel that. - Real investment in your AI fluency. Dedicated time to build the skill, an internal skills library you can contribute to, and the tooling budget to work properly. - Remote-first in Europe, with the option of attending an office in Oslo or receiving a co-working pass on demand. - Three annual off-sites to connect with the team in exciting & fun places. - Flexible, human-first culture. - Stipend for setting up your home office. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A FEW THINGS TO NOTE: - Enode is an equal opportunities employer. Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles. - Our values are integral to the way we work and are embedded into all our hiring processes.
