At Aeon, we design, build, and test modular weapon systems for ground and air platforms. We take pride in our dynamic and small team that allows us to iterate, build and test quickly. If you are looking to solve hard technical problems with a team of passionate engineers in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, Aeon is the place for you. We are looking for a Senior Flight Software Engineer to help develop the software that powers advanced guided-munition systems from concept through flight. In this role, you will work closely with guidance, navigation and control (GNC) and aerodynamics engineers to implement flight algorithms, integrate them into operational flight software, and build the simulation and test infrastructure needed to validate performance and achieve flight readiness. As a member of a small, highly collaborative team, you will contribute across the full software lifecycle, including embedded C/C++ development, SIL and HIL testing, software tooling, CI/CD improvements, and debugging complex issues spanning simulation, software, and hardware environments. This is a full-time, in-person role located in Austin, TX with plans to move to Cedar Park, TX early 2027.
