What You'll Do - Help build the strategic account motion at Ramp — sourcing deals, bridging introductions, and progressing sales opportunities in the pipeline. - Own a named book of Strategic Enterprise accounts (5,000+ employees), building durable coverage and pipeline across a smaller, higher-value set. - Develop account plans with your AE: prioritize accounts, map the buying group, identify the "why now," and align on a path to engagement. - Research and engage finance leaders through personalized, multi-channel outreach; qualify prospects through consultative discovery. - Coordinate with AEs, Marketing, Partnerships, and Events to use warm introductions, executive programs, and customer stories effectively. - Use AI tools thoughtfully to strengthen research, prioritization, and personalization — validating outputs before using them. - Maintain accurate prospect and activity data in Salesforce; use performance data to improve outreach quality. What You'll Need - Proven SDR/BDR, closing, or equivalent quota-carrying experience, with measurable evidence of attainment or overachievement. - Experience working a named-account or account-based motion — prioritizing accounts and tailoring outreach to senior or complex buyers. - Proven ability to partner with Account Executives on account strategy, meeting prep, and deal progression. - Strong discovery, objection-handling, and written/verbal communication skills. - A builder mindset: diagnose results, form a point of view, adapt, and turn what works into repeatable practice. - Ability to operate independently in an evolving motion — creating structure, managing ambiguity, and raising issues early. - Interest in building a long-term sales career and taking on the scope of a Strategic SDR role. Nice to Haves - Experience selling into large, complex, or enterprise organizations with multiple stakeholders and longer buying cycles. - Experience selling into finance, accounting, or operations teams, or familiarity with finance workflows (expense, AP, procurement, ERPs). - Familiarity with Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, or account research/intent tools. - Prior experience scaling a new team or motion, or working with partner ecosystems and field events.
