What makes you a good fit: - 6+ years defining and delivering market-leading software products, including experience leading the development of software for fleet, logistics, mobility, or other operationally complex environments. - Experience wireframing and collaborating closely with UX design. - AI-forward mindset, with proven experience using AI to accelerate the product delivery process. - Familiarity with data modeling and API-driven architectures; able to reason about systems at scale. - Strong technical fluency and ability to work effectively across autonomy, firmware, and cloud engineering teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Deep curiosity and empathy for users managing real-world, operational complexity. Excitement to travel to customer sites and engage with end-users to gain a deep understanding of real problems and how Skydio can best solve them. - Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for this position. Bonus points: - Experience with drones, autonomous systems, robotics, industrial IoT, or other mission-critical connected products. - Experience with fleet management, asset lifecycle, work-order, field-service, RMA, parts, warranty, or repair-management systems. - Experience replacing fragmented or third-party workflows with a cohesive native platform. - Experience serving public safety, critical infrastructure, defense, or other regulated, high-availability customers.
