High net worth households controlling more than $90 trillion in assets are meaningfully underserved by technology that was built for the mass market. As private client investment and banking products have commoditized, these clients are looking for more tax and wealth transfer advice which has previously been impossible to deliver at scale. Luminary solves this problem by transforming complex estate planning and ownership documents into a structured, proprietary data asset that powers verticalized, agent-driven workflows for tax and wealth transfer services. Our built-in multi-firm collaboration connects a client's full advisor ecosystem and is the core infrastructure that enables our customers to deliver a highly personalized, end-to-end wealth transfer service offering at scale. Our 1,000+ customers are leaders across the private client services ecosystem — including wealth managers from exclusive multi-family offices through top private banks and trust companies, national tax advisory practices, and law firms among the AM Law 100. Our focus and proprietary data positions us to rapidly expand from a wedge in wealth transfer advice into large, adjacent TAMs including trust administration and estate distribution. Founded and led by CEO David Barnard, former Head of Wealth Management at AllianceBernstein, Luminary is backed by 8VC, Fin Capital, Rockefeller Capital, Focus Financial Partners, and several family offices. The opportunity Luminary is building its marketing engine, and this role owns the digital core of it. Reporting to our Marketing Lead, you'll stand up marketing measurement from the ground up in HubSpot, own our email program end to end, and run paid acquisition that reaches the audiences at the heart of wealth management — financial advisors, trust and estate attorneys, and family offices. It's a hands-on, high-ownership manager role, with close cross-functional relationships across the GTM, product, and CS orgs. What you'll do Build and manage marketing reporting and analytics - Architect marketing measurement in HubSpot: lifecycle and funnel definitions, campaign taxonomy, UTM governance, and data hygiene - Build the dashboards leadership runs on: pipeline sourced and influenced, CAC, and conversion rates by channel and campaign - Own attribution and closed-loop reporting with sales, plus a monthly reporting rhythm that powers data-backed decisions Own email - Run our email program in HubSpot: calendar, segmentation, and lifecycle nurture programs across prospects and customers - Protect deliverability (domain authentication, list health, sunset policies) and improve performance through disciplined A/B testing Run paid digital - Own Google Ads strategy and execution — Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen — with conversion tracking done right (GTM, GA4, offline conversion imports from HubSpot) - Scale LinkedIn Ads — matched audiences, lead gen forms, document ads — against our target firms and personas - Test new channels (Microsoft Ads, review marketplaces, advisor trade media, podcasts) with clear hypotheses, budgets, and scale-or-stop criteria - Manage the paid budget end to end, and partner with content and design on ads and landing pages that convert Qualities we'd be excited to see in an applicant - 4+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or another considered-purchase category - Deep HubSpot Marketing Hub skills: you have experience building workflows, smart lists, custom reports, and attribution dashboards - You've built or rebuilt marketing reporting before — funnel definitions, campaign tracking, and closed-loop reporting tied to pipeline and revenue - In-platform Google Ads experience, including conversion tracking you've set up yourself - Experience running LinkedIn Ads for a B2B audience - Strong email craft — segmentation, automation, deliverability — and the ability to be hands-on with copywriting Nice to have (not required) - SEO fundamentals and a working point of view on AI search (GEO/AEO) — how brands earn citations in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, and how to measure AI visibility - Familiarity with wealth management, estate planning, or marketing to another regulated financial audience - HubSpot (Marketing Hub Software, Reporting, Email Marketing) or Google Ads certifications Why you'll love working here - You will represent a leading edge vertical AI application that is defining a new product category and will transform an industry - You'll build Luminary's digital marketing foundation yourself — and see your impact in the pipeline every week - You'll have a rare opportunity to work alongside our CEO and co-founders, as part of a GTM team that works closely together on strategy, commercial assets, and execution - You'll be part of a small and nimble team where your work has measurable impact on the business' success Benefits we offer We believe that happy, healthy employees will do their best work. - 👩🏻‍⚕️ 100% employee health insurance coverage (plus 50% dependent coverage) - 🏖️ 4 weeks PTO - 🍼 12-week parental leave - 🛥️ 401(k) plan - 🧘🏽‍♀️ Monthly wellness and commuter stipend - 📚 Annual learning & development stipend - 🏢 NYC office where much of the team works 3+ days a week Compensation - Base salary range of $115k–$145k, plus meaningful equity. - Actual compensation depends on a number of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
