About This Role The AV Engineer - London & United States East Coast is responsible for delivering an exceptional AV experience as our primary AV presence for Europe & the United States East Coast. You will operate with a high degree of independence, owning the health of the office's conference rooms and executive spaces day to day while deploying as a core member of the install team on major office buildouts across the United States and Europe. You possess a strong ability to prioritize and organize tasks while working in collaboration with the AV Engineering team and the Workplace Team, and you're comfortable being the only AV resource in the room: making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, communicating clearly with executives and stakeholders, and staying self-motivated with a positive attitude. What You'll Do - Serve as the primary AV support resource for our European and United States East Coast and Central offices, covering room health, troubleshooting, and repair of professional audio systems, video display systems, and video-conferencing solutions. What You Bring - 4+ years of corporate Audio Visual experience, with significant hands-on installation work. - Proven install skills: rack building and dressing, cable pulling and termination (Cat6, audio, video), display/camera/speaker mounting, and reading and interpreting AV drawings and schematics. - Experience with video conferencing platforms and hardware (Zoom Rooms, Neat, QSC, DTen, or similar). - Working knowledge of IT networking as it applies to AV systems; Dante or AV-over-IP experience is a plus. - Q-SYS experience (design, configuration, or commissioning) is a strong plus. - Demonstrated ability to work independently as a sole regional resource, with self-directed prioritization, clear escalation judgment, and reliable follow-through. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the polish and discretion to support executives, and the ability to interface with clients, technicians, and contractors. - Must be able to read, generate, and effectively interpret general business and technical documentation. - CTS and/or CTS-I, Q-SYS, Dante, or other AV industry certifications highly desired, not required. - Ability to be on site in our London office 5 days a week. - Willingness to travel to domestic and international locations for office buildout projects, as well as shorter trips to East Coast regional offices. Frequent travel to be expected - concentrated around project build windows. - Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restriction. - Must be flexible with shift hours and timing, including early-morning sweeps and occasional after-hours event support. - Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders and lifts, and perform the physical work of AV installation. - Valid and current driver's license.
