The infrastructure of a modern company looks nothing like it did five years ago. Systems now connect to systems, agents to agents, often with no human in the loop. This role exists to close that gap. We’re looking for a Lead Agentic AI Engineer – Systems & Architecture to join our IT team in Helsinki or Dublin (hybrid). You’ll report directly to our Head of IT and work where architecture, security and AI meet, partnering with Product, Security and BizOps to define the standards our systems run on. This is a new role, so it’s not a traditional architecture position. You’ll have a lot of ownership and the chance to build something meaningful outside the usual product space. It’s also hands-on: alongside the architecture work, you’ll roll up your sleeves on some of the operational work too. You’re a team player with a bias for action, and you’re comfortable working through the unknown, as we move fast in the AI-first world. In this role, you will… - Work at the intersection of architecture, security, and AI, collaborating with Product, Security, and BizOps to define the standards that everything runs on - Help design the new infrastructure for a world where AI agents are first-class citizens in every workflow, working alongside our Senior IT Systems & Automation Specialist, who builds and operates day-to-day - Define and maintain the company-wide integration architecture — the standard every team follows when connecting a new tool, agent, or workflow - Collaborate with Product and Security to define how AI agents authenticate, what systems they can access, and how they are monitored Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include… - Maintaining and evolving the master map of every system and application in the company, what it does, what it connects to, who owns it, what it costs, and when it renews - Partnering with Security to help define architecture standards for Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO, and identity, and contributing to SOC 2 architecture evidence for access controls, network, and device compliance - Working with the Systems Specialist on the integration layer between n8n, our SaaS stack, and the AI agents running across the busines - Stepping in early when a business team is about to solve a problem the wrong way , and collaborating to find the right answer before it becomes a risk This position is for you if you have… - 7+ years of experience with strong, hands-on skills in API architecture: REST, webhooks, event-driven patterns, OAuth, SAML - Experience working with LLMs and AI platforms (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) at an integration and architecture level - Proficiency in Python and Go, and familiarity with n8n, Make, or equivalent automation platforms well enough to define standards and review what's been built - Security architecture fundamentals: Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO, IAM, NHI - A mindset that thinks company-wide rather than team-by-team, brings people along collaboratively, and builds for maintainability and scale, not just today's problem Benefits we offer… - Attractive salary and benefits package, including equity participation - Great work equipment, and home office allowance for fully remote locations - Health care benefit and leisure time insurance - Annual €1,000 personal learning budget - Sports and wellbeing allowance Benefits may vary depending on location. #LI-Hybrid Join us in putting AI to work for marketers Supermetrics helps marketers make better decisions. How we use AI in the recruitment process: We use AI to help our recruiters work through applications faster, for example, summarizing your resume and scheduling interviews. A recruiter reviews every application, and no hiring decision is ever made by AI. For some roles, your first interview may be with an AI interviewer instead of a person, and a recruiter reviews that conversation before deciding whether you move forward. From there, our human interviewers may use AI to take notes throughout the rest of the process, never to score or evaluate you, just so they can stay focused on the conversation instead of typing. You'll be told before this happens, and if you'd rather not be recorded, you can opt out at any point. It covers the rest of your process and never affects how you're evaluated. Every hiring decision is made by our human recruiting and hiring teams.
