The Ideal Candidate - Sharp news judgment, a strong understanding of the news cycle and a commitment to accuracy and journalistic standards. - 2–3+ years of experience in a digital newsroom, social editing, audience development or a related editorial role. - Strong news judgment and excellent writing and copy-editing skills. - Hands-on experience publishing journalism across social platforms, particularly Facebook, LinkedIn and X. - Understanding of platform-specific audience behavior, formats and best practices. - Ability to make independent editorial decisions and work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven newsroom. - Experience—or strong interest—in business journalism. - Comfort using performance data to inform publishing decisions. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Familiarity with Canva, Figma or similar design tools; basic social asset creation is preferred. - Video editing experience is a plus. - Should be news obsessive with a passion for thinking quickly and creatively to identify and pursue opportunities.
