ABOUT THE ROLE This is Metaview's first in-house recruiter, working directly with Shahriar, co-founder & CTO. It's a full-cycle role with the expectation that you'll do "the whole thing" and some. To name a few, this means: - Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of top-tier technical candidates to support current and future hiring needs. - Proactively sourcing, engaging, and nurturing relationships with top technical talent using various sourcing tools and strategies. - Screening and assessing candidate qualifications and fit for open positions. - Continuously refining and improving pitches to attract top tier candidates. - Maintaining accurate and organized candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). - Fostering a world-class candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and engagement. - Staying up to date with industry best practices and emerging tools. At Metaview, we want everyone to do the best work of their lives here. For this role, success means looking back with pride, knowing you played a key part in building one of the most legendary teams in history. That's our goal—anything less isn't worth our time. ABOUT YOU - You're fiercely ambitious and fundamentally interested in doing great work http://www.paulgraham.com/greatwork.html. - You're passionate about your craft and it feels weird to call it "work". - You have a track record of full-cycle technical recruiting for a product company, consistently finding and closing world-class talent at different seniority levels. - You have a track record of being relentlessly resourceful. - You use AI to be a 10x recruiter. - You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an authentic (i.e., not overly "professional") communication style. - You don't take yourself too seriously. A wry sense of humour is always appreciated! - You're excited about being a vocal advocate for our products, especially given that we're shaping the future of the recruiting space. ABOUT WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH We're a small team, so you'll work quite closely with everyone. Your primary sparring partner, however, will be Shahriar—Metaview's co-founder & CTO. Hear directly from him about what it's like to work with him: I care about nothing more than the team we build—literally. This means I view our recruiting activities as the most critical work we do as a company. However, I'm not an easy person to work with. I'm intense and highly opinionated. I hold myself—and consequently, those around me—to the highest performance standards or, at a minimum, expect them to possess the drive to reach that level. I deeply value curiosity and initiative. Honestly, only a genuine passion for your craft will enable you to successfully partner with me. If this is just 'work' to you, you'll eventually come to resent me. ABOUT WHERE YOU’LL WORK This role is based in our San Francisco office, located at 75 Federal Street. You'll be expected to work from the office at least three days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
