Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE TEAM The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. To achieve our vision of becoming a large-volume provider of tactical rocket motors, we will develop differentiated products and services that maximize our customers’ capabilities, and we will establish and maintain a reputation of Quality and Reliability. ABOUT THE JOB As the Electrical Engineer, you will specify, design, develop and install devices used to collect data on solid rocket motor burn performance. Additionally, you will design custom electronic solutions—including PCBs, firmware, and FPGA code—needed to manufacture and test solid rocket motors, which will include working with integrated safety-critical designs. This position also requires the ability to configure data collection systems and develop software applications used to collect the data. It is expected that you may oversee technicians during the instrumentation installation and during rocket motor testing/development. The right person for this role has direct, hands-on experience with the design, development, and installation of sensors used to collect a variety of metrics related to testing of solid rocket motors. If you are a hands-on leader, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and enjoy being the point person for collecting valuable performance data, then this role is for you. You will assist in the testing solid rocket motors which will include working with integrated safety designs used to initiate the motor.
