We’re looking for a commercially-minded finance professional to partner closely with our Sales team to build high-impact Proofs of Concept (POCs) for prospective customers. This role sits at the intersection of finance, go-to-market and product, translating real-world business problems into financial models and compelling narratives that drive deal success. In addition to building POCs, you will play a key role in owning and evolving our demo environments, ensuring they reflect our latest product capabilities and effectively support our GTM strategy. What you’ll do - Partner with Sales to design and build POCs that demonstrate value to prospective customers - Translate customer requirements into Abacum models and beautiful dashboards - Work across industries, quickly ramping on new business models and metrics - Own and maintain demo environments, ensuring they are always up-to-date, reliable, and aligned with GTM needs - Create new demo assets and use cases to support different segments, industries, and sales motions - Bring new product developments into demo environments, translating features into compelling, real-world scenarios - Help shape repeatable POC frameworks, demo templates, and playbooks What we’re looking for - 2–5 years experience in FP&A, Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or similar - Strong financial modeling skills (Excel / Google Sheets proficiency is essential) - Solid understanding of: - SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, LTV/CAC, cohorts) - B2B and/or B2C business models - Ability to structure ambiguous problems quickly with a commercial mindset - High learning velocity — comfortable picking up new tools (e.g. Abacum) fast Nice-to-have - Experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing analytics roles - Experience building or maintaining demo environments or product showcases - Exposure to financial planning tools / BI tools - Startup or high-growth environment experience What makes this role unique - You’ll sit closer to revenue than traditional finance roles - Direct ownership of both deal-critical POCs and demo experience - High impact on how the product is positioned and experienced by prospects - Exposure to multiple industries and business models - Blend of analytical depth + storytelling + product thinking - Benefits - Competitive compensation including equity package - Competitive vacation policy - Medical Insurance - L&D budget - Access to Meditopia (wellbeing platform) - Language courses (English / Spanish) Our Values Customer Obsession: We share the understanding that Abacum's sole purpose is to create value for customers and relentlessly deploy all creativity and energy to that end.
