AJVC Leads Rs 2.5 Cr Pre-Seed Into Home-Furnishing Startup wudhomes
Seekho co-founders Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal and Yash Banwani joined the pre-seed round, which the Bengaluru startup will use to build a vertically integrated supply chain and in-house technology.
Bengaluru-based home-furnishing startup wudhomes has raised Rs 2.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, the fund founded by Aviral Bhatnagar, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.
The round also drew participation from Seekho co-founders Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal and Yash Banwani, alongside other angel investors who were not named.
wudhomes offers products including custom-built sofas, accent chairs, coffee tables, side tables and other living room furniture. Founded in 2025 by Vasu Arneja and Aditya Singh, the startup positions itself around the full arc of furnishing a home — connecting inspiration, product discovery, curation, personalisation and fulfilment so that customers can work through the decisions involved in setting up their living spaces.
Furniture is the company's starting category, but its stated ambition is broader: simplifying the overall home-furnishing process. It is developing an integrated model that combines digital inspiration, personalised product curation, spatial visualisation, physical retail, home visits and a vertically integrated supply chain.
That supply chain, along with in-house technology, the retail experience and expanded operational capabilities, is what the fresh funds are earmarked for.
The company has some early traction to point to. In recent months, wudhomes says it has furnished more than 200 homes. It has also opened a retail outlet in Bengaluru and launched a home-visit service in which consultants assess customers' spaces and help them explore suitable furnishing options. Those touchpoints are meant to link product discovery and decision-making directly to the act of furnishing a home.
The raise comes as India's home and furniture market continues to attract early-stage capital, with startups attempting to compress a fragmented, offline-heavy buying process — spanning design help, customisation and delivery — into a more guided, technology-supported experience. For wudhomes, the immediate task is turning a single Bengaluru store and a consultant-led service into the integrated model it has described to its new backers.
