Revnu's $3M Seed Bets Growth Channels Should Learn From Each Other
PXN Ventures led the round through NPIF II - PXN Equity Finance, with Y Combinator, identity.vc, InvestorX and unnamed angels participating.
Revnu, a Manchester-based startup building what it calls an "AI growth hire" for software founders, has raised a $3M Seed round led by NPIF II - PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II. Y Combinator, identity.vc, InvestorX and unnamed angel investors also participated. No valuation was disclosed, and the public record does not establish individual investor allocations or a separate earlier financing round.
The company's product connects a customer's business tools and then runs agents that research buyers, prepare outbound messages, run paid campaigns, publish search content, support SEO and generative engine optimization, and handle lifecycle actions such as churn recovery. Its central claim is that results in one channel inform what the system tries in another — a cross-channel handoff rather than a single-purpose automation tool. Revnu places approvals and reporting inside that loop, saying founders retain judgment over consequential work and receive updates through tools such as Slack or iMessage.
That control layer matters because the product touches areas where mistakes are expensive: outbound identity, advertising spend, search quality, customer communication and the public voice of a young company.
Founders George Jefferson and Art Freebrey met in secondary school and built software businesses together before Revnu. They left university for Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch, spent the program in San Francisco, and chose Manchester for the company's operating base. At the time of the round, Y Combinator listed Revnu as active with a team of three, while the company's careers pages showed active hiring for its Manchester office. The October 1, 2026 round will support hiring in Manchester, product development, and expansion across the UK, US, and additional international markets.
European coverage reported the same round as approximately €2.6M or £2.28M, reflecting currency conversion rather than separate capital.
The lead vehicle ties Revnu's international ambition to a regional build strategy. Revnu says much of its customer base was in San Francisco when it announced the round, yet the founders chose to build the team in the UK, with independent coverage saying the company plans to grow in both the UK and US while using Manchester's engineering and university talent as its hiring base. PXN's participation puts a regional development mandate beside a venture-scale software thesis: Revnu is attempting to serve global software companies while creating technical roles in Northern England.
Revnu is entering a crowded market that includes specialized tools for sales automation, advertising, content, analytics and search. Its claim is broader — that one system should perform work across those categories and carry learning between them. That breadth could reduce tool and management overhead for a founder-led company, but it also expands the number of ways the product must be accurate, reliable and commercially useful.
