Vector Line Capital Leads $75M Round In Hero Electronix-Owned Tessolve
Existing backers TPG and Novo Tellus Capital Partners joined the $75M round, which will fund acquisitions to broaden Tessolve Semiconductor's service offerings and international business.
Tessolve Semiconductor, the Hero Electronix-owned semiconductor company, has raised $75M (₹718 Cr) in a funding round led by Vector Line Capital.
Existing backers TPG and Novo Tellus Capital Partners also participated in the round, giving the deal a new lead investor alongside two names already on the company's cap table.
The fresh capital will support acquisitions that complement Tessolve's existing capabilities, broaden its service offerings and strengthen its international business. The mandate is an expansionary one, aimed at adding technical capability and geographic reach rather than a single product bet.
The round arrives amid broader momentum in India's deeptech sector, where semiconductor and chip design startups have drawn rising investor interest.
For Tessolve, the priorities set out with the funding are threefold: acquisitions to fill gaps alongside its existing capabilities, a wider set of services offered to customers, and a deeper push into international markets.
The investor lineup is itself notable. Vector Line Capital takes the lead position in a Hero Electronix-owned asset, while TPG and Novo Tellus Capital Partners return to a company they already back — a mix of fresh lead capital and follow-on conviction from the existing shareholder base.
Tessolve operates in the semiconductor space, an area of India's deeptech ecosystem that has been drawing increased attention from investors. The company has framed the raise around building out what it already does — deepening and widening its semiconductor services — rather than pivoting into new territory.
At ₹718 Cr, the cheque is a substantial one for the segment, and its stated purpose makes the next phase of the company's growth an acquisitive one. How quickly those acquisitions close, and in which markets, will determine whether the expansion ambitions attached to this round translate into a broader international footprint.
