Blinq Mobility Takes $480K Seed Check From 8i Ventures
The Haryana-based electric vehicles startup was one of several EV companies to close a round in StartupTalky's 16–29 December funding window.
Blinq Mobility, an electric vehicles company headquartered in Haryana, has raised $480K in seed funding led by 8i Ventures, according to StartupTalky's weekly Indian startup funding tracker.
The deal was recorded in the publication's 16 December – 29 December 2025 funding roundup, placing Blinq in a crowded field of EV raises logged over the same fortnight. StartupTalky's table lists the company's sector as Electric Vehicles and its headquarters as Haryana, alongside the $480K round size, the seed classification and 8i Ventures as lead investor. The tracker does not disclose a valuation, the startup's founder or founding team, its vehicle segment, or how the proceeds will be deployed.
Blinq was not the only Haryana-based EV name in the window. Naxatra Labs, also listed under Electric Vehicles and Haryana, closed a $3M seed round led by Rainmatter in the same period — a round roughly six times the size of Blinq's. That pairing suggests the National Capital Region corridor continues to produce early-stage electric mobility ventures attracting institutional backing.
The wider EV cohort in the same roundup spanned multiple stages. Oben Electric, based in Karnataka, raised $9.4M in Series A funding led by Ramesh Bhutada. Qucev, based in Telangana, brought in $15M in a Series B led by Singularity AMC. Entuple E-Mobility, also in Karnataka, took $1.44M in seed funding from VCAPL. Ultraviolette, listed in the preceding 25 November – 8 December window, raised $45M in a Series E led by Zoho.
Against those figures, Blinq's $480K sits at the small end of the EV capital raised in the period — consistent with a first institutional cheque rather than a scale-up round. 8i Ventures' participation as lead investor marks the most concrete signal of outside conviction behind the company that the funding data discloses.
StartupTalky's tracker aggregates monthly funding activity by company, sector, headquarters, amount, round type and lead investors, and is updated weekly. Beyond those fields, no further details on Blinq Mobility's product, manufacturing plans or investor terms appear in the record.
