V3 Ventures Backs Scrubsy With $3M To Take Its Foam Cleaners Past The Kitchen
The Delhi NCR-based D2C brand, founded in 2025 by four cofounders, will use the seed funding to add car cleaners, laundry care and other all-purpose home-cleaning products.
D2C home-cleaning startup Scrubsy has raised $3M in a seed round led by V3 Ventures, the company said, as it looks to widen a product line built around a single premise: foam that clings to a surface long enough to do the work so a household doesn't have to.
Scrubsy makes foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, footwear and other surfaces — a portfolio that has so far stuck largely to the rooms and items where grease and grime are most visible.
The fresh capital is earmarked for a push into new categories. According to the company, the round will fund expansion into car cleaners, laundry care and other all-purpose home-cleaning solutions, extending the brand from surfaces it already covers into adjacent jobs around the home and the vehicle parked outside it.
The business was founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain and Aditya Bhasin, and is based in the Delhi NCR region. V3 Ventures led the round, which was announced on 13 August 2026.
Scrubsy's wager is on formulation and format rather than on a new category of cleaning chemistry. Its positioning rests on the behaviour of foam — sprayed on, left briefly, then wiped — as an alternative to the soaking, scrubbing and multiple-product routines that dominate the Indian household cleaning aisle. Kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, chimneys and sneakers all feature in its pitch, with the same base format pitched as the answer to each.
The company is entering a consumer segment where incumbents have deep distribution reach and shelf space in general trade, and where several D2C challengers have spent the past few years trying to convert first-time online buyers into repeat customers.
Scrubsy has not disclosed its valuation, revenue or the round's other participants.
