Vertex Leads $29M Series B In Enterprise AI Startup RapidCanvas
The company will use the $29M to expand its go-to-market operations and grow its AI engineering team across India, the US and Brazil.
Enterprise AI startup RapidCanvas has raised $29M in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, the company said, as investor appetite for enterprise AI continues to climb in the Indian startup ecosystem.
RapidCanvas builds software for enterprises looking to deploy AI across their operations. According to the company, the fresh capital is earmarked for three broad buckets: expanding its go-to-market operations, growing its AI engineering team across India, the US and Brazil, and strengthening its platform for enterprise AI deployment.
The raise lands at a moment when money is moving quickly into Indian AI startups. Such companies raised $438M in the third quarter of 2026, up 265% year on year, according to the announcement — a figure that underscores how sharply the category has re-rated even as funding elsewhere in the startup market stays selective.
For RapidCanvas, the Series B arrives roughly at the stage where enterprise software companies typically shift from proving product-market fit to building repeatable sales motion. The stated plan — hiring across three geographies while pushing GTM headcount — suggests the company sees distribution, rather than product gaps, as its next constraint. Splitting engineering capacity across India, the US and Brazil also hints at a geographically distributed customer base and a desire to serve accounts closer to where they sit.
The round was led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, which takes the lead position in a funding the company has framed around scaling deployment of enterprise AI rather than a single product launch. The announcement did not disclose the company's valuation, total capital raised to date, or revenue figures.
