Gravity Raises $15M to Expand Into Doors, Lighting, Home Automation
3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures co-led the equity-debt round, which will fund Gravity's push into doors and windows, lighting, wall surfaces and home automation.
Gravity, a home interior materials platform launched by the former Livspace cofounder and chief business officer, has raised $15M (around ₹142.7 Cr) in a mix of equity and debt. The round was co-led by 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology, distribution and key-account infrastructure while expanding into new categories such as doors and windows, lighting, wall surfaces and home automation. The expansion moves Gravity beyond its core materials business into adjacent segments of the home interior stack, where products are often bought together during construction and renovation.
The equity-debt structure suggests the company is building infrastructure that requires both growth capital and working capital flexibility. Distribution and key-account infrastructure are central to the plan, indicating a focus on serving large accounts as well as a wider customer base. Adding categories like doors and windows, lighting and home automation also increases the average scope of each project Gravity can address, rather than limiting it to individual materials.
For 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures, the co-led round backs a founding team with prior experience in the home interior space through Livspace. The new categories are a meaningful expansion of Gravity's addressable scope, taking it from materials into larger-ticket, installation-linked products. The startup announced the funding on September 30.
