JustAd Pulls In $5M From Angel Emad Gomaa to Move Past MENA
The UAE-based ad tech company will put the single-investor round into local sales and customer success hires, product localization and platform partnerships ahead of a push into new markets in early 2027.
JustAd, a UAE-based marketing technology company, has raised $5 million from angel investor Emad Gomaa, funding aimed at taking the business beyond its core Middle East and North Africa markets.
Founded by CEO Ahmed El-Sayed, JustAd provides a software platform that bundles advertising campaign management, performance analytics and an "Advertise Now, Pay Later" model into a single product. Small and medium-sized businesses use it to run campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Google Ads, while the financing side of the offering gives them a way to manage the cash flow gaps that come with marketing expenses. That pairing — running the campaigns and funding them — is the company's central pitch to advertisers that typically lack both the headcount and the working capital of larger competitors.
The source does not specify a round type, and Gomaa is the only named backer, making this a single-angel cheque rather than an institutional round.
JustAd plans to direct the money toward local sales and customer success teams, product localization and closer partnerships with digital advertising platforms. The company has said it expects to enter new markets in early 2027.
The funding was announced in October 2026. Its size places JustAd in a cluster of mid-sized early cheques in the marketing technology category — The SaaS News has tracked several comparable rounds this month, including MotifDrive's $4.9 million and Matters' $5 million pre-seed, suggesting investors remain willing to fund ad tech and adjacent software despite a crowded field.
JustAd's geographic starting point gives it a defined base to expand from. Its existing footprint spans MENA, where SMB advertising spend has been growing across the same social and search platforms the product supports. Moving outside that region means competing for customers in markets where established campaign management tools and ad-spend financing providers are already present — a test the localization and partnership work is presumably designed to address.
The company has not disclosed revenue, customer numbers or valuation.
