Bessemer and Fin Capital co-lead AlgoX2's $10M seed extension
AlgoX2, a New York-based data streaming operating system startup, raised a $10M seed extension led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Fin Capital, with Alumni Ventures and Somersault Ventures also joining.
AlgoX2, a New York-based data streaming company, has raised a $10 million seed extension, according to an announcement dated September 30, 2026. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Fin Capital, with Alumni Ventures and Somersault Ventures joining as new participants. Existing investors Octave, Motivate VC, and AAL VC also took part in the round.
The company describes itself as the Data Streaming Operating System. Its core pitch is consolidation: one engine handles streaming, processing, and storage, with no separate systems to stitch together. AlgoX2 says its platform powers mission-critical systems and feeds AI models live, ordered data. It natively supports Kafka, Redis, NATS, and MQTT, allowing teams to switch between those technologies without changing a line of code.
That positioning speaks directly to a common pain point in modern data infrastructure. Many organizations run separate systems for ingestion, processing, and storage, then spend significant engineering effort connecting them. AlgoX2's approach aims to collapse those layers into a single engine while maintaining compatibility with widely used protocols. For teams already standardized on Kafka or Redis, the promise of switching without rewriting code is a notable selling point.
The company's emphasis on ordered, durable data also points to its intended market. Mission-critical systems, particularly in financial trading and AI inference, depend on data arriving in the right sequence without loss. By framing itself as an operating system for data streaming, AlgoX2 is competing for workloads that demand reliability and low-latency delivery.
The seed extension brings together a mix of new and existing investors. Bessemer Venture Partners and Fin Capital co-leading the round adds two established venture firms to the cap table, while the continued participation of Octave, Motivate VC, and AAL VC indicates support from earlier backers as well. The announcement did not specify how the new capital will be used, but the round size and investor lineup suggest the company is positioning itself for the next stage of growth in the competitive data infrastructure space.
