Graham Martin joins HomeTruth as Chairman, backs AI‑driven proptech platform with equity stake
Former Sky Bet entrepreneur Graham Martin invests in HomeTruth, a AI‑powered platform that consolidates property data and advice for homeowners.
HomeTruth, a proptech startup founded by Tech.eu journalist Monty Munford, offers homeowners a single‑point solution to understand, protect and manage their properties. The platform uses AI‑driven data to bring together property documents, maintenance records, warranties and expenses, while delivering personalised advice, repair reminders and cost‑impact insights.
In a move that underscores the company’s growing credibility, Graham Martin has acquired an equity stake in HomeTruth and been appointed Chairman. Martin’s involvement is not merely ceremonial; his extensive background in business development, commercial strategy and company building is expected to accelerate HomeTruth’s product development, partnership pipeline and market expansion. A third‑generation bookmaker, Martin founded Bonne Terre Limited, the licensed holder for Sky Bet, which he sold to The Stars Group in a $3.4 billion deal. He also launched Scotbet International, chaired Probability Games Corporation and helped establish the first legal framework for offshore online gaming in Guernsey.
Martin’s commercial experience aligns with HomeTruth’s ambition to deepen strategic partnerships and carve a stronger position in the rapidly evolving proptech and home‑insurance markets. While the exact size of his investment has not been disclosed, his decision to take a board seat signals confidence in the company’s vision and the market gap it aims to fill.
CEO Monty Munford welcomed the appointment, noting that Martin brings the “combination of experience, commercial judgement and entrepreneurial energy” needed at this stage. As Chairman, Martin will work closely with co‑founders Jason Ryan and Munford to drive the next phase of growth, leveraging his network and expertise to broaden HomeTruth’s ecosystem for consumers and the wider property market.
