For India's premium interiors, Gravity Design secures $15M from 3one4 Capital and Info Edge
The equity-and-debt round, co-led by 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures, backs a company founded by ex-Livspace executives and targeting India's roughly $15B design-specified materials market.
Gravity Design has raised $15M in equity and debt funding, co-led by 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures, to build a technology-enabled operating platform for India's premium interior materials market. Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures and angel investors also participated.
The company is targeting India's approximately $15 billion design-specified materials market, where supplier networks remain fragmented across multiple product categories. Gravity is bringing established businesses in the modular kitchen and wardrobe ecosystem onto a common technology, distribution and key-account backbone, with the model intended to improve pricing visibility, availability and fulfillment.
Gravity was founded by Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, both former Livspace executives. Jain previously served as CEO India at Livspace, while Mittal served as CBO India across 30 markets. By integrating operating businesses from inception, Gravity began with a multi-hundred-crore revenue base and positive EBITDA. The company plans to expand into categories including doors, windows, lighting and wall surfaces.
"We partnered with Gravity, driven by the conviction that India's premium interior materials sector requires category-defining infrastructure to serve professional specifiers across multiple material systems," 3one4 Capital said. "Having operated inside this supply chain at scale, Saurabh and Lalit understand both customer requirements and supply chain friction points." The investor added that it looks forward to partnering with the Gravity team as they build "the definitive operating platform for India's interior materials market."
