Haryana EV startup Blinq Mobility picks up $480K in seed funding
8i Ventures led the seed round, according to StartupTalky's Indian startup funding tracker covering mid- to late December 2025.
Blinq Mobility, an electric-vehicle company headquartered in Haryana, has raised $480K in seed funding led by 8i Ventures. The deal appears in StartupTalky's weekly Indian startup funding tracker, in the table covering 16–29 December 2025.
The disclosure stops at the essentials: company name, sector, headquarters, round size, round type and lead investor. The tracker does not name co-investors, does not state a valuation, and does not say how the capital will be used. No product, manufacturing, battery or fleet details accompany the entry. What the record does establish is the category — Blinq sits in electric vehicles, one of the more crowded segments in the current Indian funding cycle.
That crowding is visible in the same tracker. In the 16–29 December window, Naxatra Labs — also based in Haryana and also classified under electric vehicles — raised $3M in seed funding led by Rainmatter, roughly six times Blinq's cheque at the same stage. Oben Electric, a Karnataka EV company, raised $9.4M in a Series A led by Ramesh Bhutada, and Qucev, based in Telangana, raised $15M in a Series B led by Singularity AMC. In the preceding window, covering 25 November to 8 December, Ultraviolette raised $45M in a Series E led by Zoho.
Against the smaller seed cheques in the same mid-December table, Blinq's $480K is less of an outlier — EveoAI raised $27.8K in seed funding from Startup India and Clipo raised $55.8K in seed funding from Idapthub — but those are consumer and software companies, not hardware-heavy vehicle businesses.
The round leaves the usual seed-stage questions open. The tracker gives no indication of what Blinq has built, how far along it is, or what the new capital is intended to fund, and 8i Ventures has not been quoted on the deal in the source material. Blinq is one of two Haryana electric-vehicle seed rounds in the same fortnight, alongside Naxatra Labs, and one of several EV raises recorded across the two December windows.
