AI-era data loss: MIND lands $72M Series B at $300M valuation
Crosspoint Capital Partners led the round with about $35M, its first investment in an Israeli company, as MIND hits a $10M annual revenue run rate.
Cybersecurity startup MIND Security has closed a $72 million Series B that triples its valuation to $300 million, just one year after a $30 million round. The company, founded in 2023, has now raised $112 million in total. All proceeds went directly to MIND, with no secondary sale.
The round was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, a firm specializing in cybersecurity and AI, which put in approximately $35 million — its first investment in an Israeli company. Crosspoint, led by former Symantec and Blue Coat CEO Greg Clark, counts McAfee and Forescout in its portfolio. It had previously invested about $5 million in MIND during the RSAC Innovation Sandbox competition, where MIND was named one of the 10 most innovative cybersecurity companies and the only DLP-focused entrant for 2025. Existing backers YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group also participated; Paladin led MIND's previous round.
MIND builds an AI-native data loss prevention (DLP) platform that helps organizations discover and classify sensitive data, detect anomalous activity and prevent data leaks in real time across SaaS environments, GenAI tools, agentic AI, endpoints, on-premises file shares and email. The platform analyzes both data content and context to distinguish legitimate activity from risk, and can automatically block risky actions, remediate exposures and guide employees. The company also recently launched MIND AI DLP Agents, which autonomously handle day-to-day DLP tasks.
The startup says demand is being driven by GenAI adoption: 90% of enterprises have deployed GenAI tools, more than two-thirds use AI agents, and 65% lack confidence in their AI data security controls, according to MIND. It says one in five AI initiatives fail because of weak data foundations.
MIND says it has achieved more than 1,700% revenue growth and 800% customer growth over the past year, and reached a $10 million annual revenue run rate just a year and a half after beginning to sell its product. It has analyzed billions of data events in real time across GenAI, agentic AI and IT environments, and says it has stopped sensitive data loss across hundreds of thousands of endpoints. The company employs about 70 people, 40 of them in Israel and the rest in the U.S.
The founders have deep security roots: CEO Eran Barak co-founded Hexadite, acquired by Microsoft in 2017 for approximately $100 million; CTO Itai Schwartz was the first employee at Torq and Axonius; and VP R&D Hod Bin-Noon was the first employee at Dazz, acquired by Wiz, after a decade in Unit 8200.
The new funding will be used to accelerate development of the DLP platform, expand MIND's presence in key enterprise markets, deepen technology and channel partnerships and increase its workforce as it scales its customer base. MIND also recently joined Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program and says it is the first data security company to receive ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI.
We are confident that our next milestone will be a billion-dollar valuation and $100 million in revenue. I believe we'll get there within two years.
