ReFit Global takes $1M from a Gulf family office to widen its refurbished electronics reach
The Delhi-based refurbisher, which runs 12 ReFit Xpress outlets alongside a network of 50,000 retail outlets, will put the $1M toward retail expansion, refurbishment capacity and an omnichannel platform, with Bestvantage Investments advising the round.
ReFit Global, a Delhi-based startup operating in the refurbished electronics market, has raised $1 million from a UAE-based family office. The company said the capital will go toward expanding its retail footprint, strengthening its refurbishment capabilities, investing in technology infrastructure and developing an integrated omnichannel platform.
The raise carries a market-access dimension beyond the cheque. The UAE-based family office is expected to help ReFit reach potential partners, customers and business opportunities in the Gulf and African markets, extending a business that has so far been built around Indian distribution. ReFit has said it wants to expand its operations in India while exploring opportunities in those two regions.
Bestvantage Investments advised the round.
"This round marks an important milestone for ReFit Global and validates the strength of the ecosystem we have been building," co-founder Saket Saurav said.
Saurav founded the company with Avneet Singh. ReFit works across refurbishment, distribution and retail, selling through both online marketplaces and offline retail channels, with sourcing and sales relationships involving platforms including Flipkart and Amazon.
The company's distribution reach is its central asset. ReFit says its pan-India network spans more than 75 distributors, 2,000 wholesalers and 50,000 retail outlets, and it operates 12 ReFit Xpress outlets in addition to its business-to-business distribution arm.
On the operations side, the startup reports a refurbishment yield of 92% and repair capabilities extending up to L4, which includes chip-level repairs. Its refurbishment processes cover device diagnostics, automated quality checks, grading, post-quality-control procedures and inventory management. Part of the new funding is earmarked to further strengthen those capabilities and the technology infrastructure behind them.
ReFit also pointed to its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 3, which it said helped increase consumer awareness of the business.
The refurbished electronics segment in India has drawn attention as buyers weigh price against warranty and quality assurance, making grading standards and repair depth a competitive differentiator rather than a back-office detail. ReFit's pitch rests on that operational layer — the 92% yield figure and chip-level repair capability — coupled with a distribution network that pushes renewed devices through wholesale and retail channels rather than relying solely on direct-to-consumer sales.
The Gulf and Africa angle gives the family-office investment a strategic rather than purely financial character, with the incoming backer positioned to open doors in markets where ReFit has no established presence.
