Samtel Avionics secures $8.3M debt round led by True North

True North has extended $8.3M in debt financing to Samtel Avionics, a Delhi-headquartered aerospace technology company that designs, develops and manufactures electronic products and systems for avionics, defence and railways.
The transaction is recorded in StartupTalky's Indian startup funding tracker for the December 16–29, 2025 window. The listing classifies the round as debt, names True North as the lead investor, and places Samtel Avionics under the Aerospace Tech sector with Delhi as its headquarters. The tracker is part of StartupTalky's 2025 Indian startup funding updates, which the publication says it updates weekly.
Samtel Avionics' work spans the full value chain of high-technology electronics, covering design, development, manufacturing, testing, qualification, repair and maintenance, obsolescence management and upgrades. The company's product and system focus spans defence and railway applications.
