Fronte raises pre-seed to build a shared financial record for split households

Colombian fintech Fronte has raised an undisclosed pre-seed round led by Rally Cap VC and Bankless Ventures. Base Ecosystem Fund and angel investors also participated in the round.
The company is developing a financial platform for families living in different countries. It is designed to help them manage household expenses, coordinate payments among contributors, and build a shared financial history they can use to access credit. The platform tracks expenses including utilities, groceries, education, healthcare and rent. When a payment is delayed, families can ask other contributors to cover the expense or switch payment methods — a small feature that speaks to how these households actually operate, with money arriving from more than one person and obligations spread across several.
Fronte did not disclose the size of the round. The company said the funds will go toward developing its platform and expanding its team in Bogotá.
The pitch rests on research Fronte ran with nearly 1,000 households receiving remittances. Two thirds of those surveyed relied on contributions from at least two people, and 46% had been denied credit despite receiving regular financial support. That is the gap Fronte is targeting: money that arrives reliably but leaves little or no trace in the formal financial system, because it moves between individuals rather than through documented income.
Fronte's approach is to turn the coordination itself into the record, so that contributions, covered expenses and payment behavior accumulate into a history that can be presented to lenders. The pre-seed backers include two funds — Rally Cap VC and Bankless Ventures — that have both spent heavily on early-stage bets, alongside Base Ecosystem Fund and individual angels.
The company now has to show that a shared household ledger can convert into credit access for families that have been turned down before. Platform development and the Bogotá hiring push are the first items on that agenda.
