Homa Secures $5M Seed Funding to Enhance AI Homebuying Platform
Homa raised $5M in seed funding led by Quiet Capital to expand its AI-driven homebuying services and mortgage options.
Homa has successfully raised $5 million in seed funding to enhance its innovative AI-powered homebuying platform. The funding round was led by Quiet Capital, with additional participation from Restive Ventures and Cambrian Ventures. This investment will enable Homa to expand its technology and scale its operations, particularly as it prepares to launch integrated mortgage lending capabilities directly within its platform.
The company's platform is designed to streamline the homebuying process, guiding users through every step, from property search and analysis to negotiations and closing. Homa's technology is powered by an AI system that incorporates state-specific laws and real estate information, providing buyers with critical insights such as property pricing, disclosures, and comparable sales data.
Currently, Homa operates in California, Florida, and Texas, covering markets that represent approximately 95 million people. The company aims to simplify the homebuying experience by merging brokerage services and mortgage financing into a single platform, thus allowing buyers to manage both aspects without needing to navigate separate entities. This integrated approach is expected to significantly improve communication between brokers and lenders, addressing one of the most common pain points in real estate transactions.
Homa's unique economic model also aims to benefit buyers directly, returning a portion of the buyer-side commission back to them. On average, buyers have received credits of over $10,000, which can be applied toward closing costs or mortgage reductions. As Homa continues to expand its services, it plans to launch a mobile application later in 2026 to further integrate its offerings for users in the states where it operates.
Homa was co-founded by CEO Arman Javaherian, a former senior director at Zillow, and Federico Campeotto, a computer scientist with a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence. The company's innovative approach is already showing promise, having returned millions of dollars to buyers in completed transactions across Texas and Florida. With this new funding, Homa is well-positioned to enhance its platform and make significant strides in transforming the homebuying process in America.
