Vitonnix's first institutional cheque comes from Inflection Point Ventures
The UK-developed sublingual spray maker's seed round also drew practising doctors plus Bollywood names Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Jaspinder Narula and Madhu Mantena.
Vitonnix, a UK-developed preventive healthcare startup, has raised its first institutional funding in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The round also saw participation from a clutch of individual backers, including practising doctors and film personalities Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, singer Jaspinder Narula and producer Madhu Mantena.
The company was founded by Dr Prashant Jindal, a UK-based refractive eye surgeon, along with Dr Deepti Jindal, a dermatologist, and Dr Rajesh Handa, an oral surgeon. Its business is built around a specific bet: that nutrients are better absorbed through the oral mucosa than through conventional pills. Vitonnix develops sublingual nutritional sprays under its SubliSpray range, formulated with attention to ingredient compatibility, dosage consistency, taste and stability.
The founding team says the platform has been developed over more than a decade of research, including three completed clinical studies involving key formulations. The startup claims its precision spray systems are engineered in Germany and that it has filed patent applications covering both its bottle designs and its formulations.
The fresh capital has a clear operational mandate. Vitonnix will use the funds to strengthen its senior leadership team, build a consumer-growth engine, expand distribution channels and enter new international markets.
That international push is already in motion. Although the company began in the UK, its research, formulation and manufacturing base sits in India, while global operations are run from London and Birmingham. Vitonnix has undertaken product registrations, regulatory filings and market-entry work across the UK, US, UAE and India.
India has provided the most concrete commercial traction so far. The company received early support from the Tata Group and subsequently introduced a co-branded product range within the Tata ecosystem. It is now preparing to launch an initial portfolio of 10 products, with a UK rollout planned for 2026 that includes a proposed launch through British retailer Boots.
Beyond human nutrition, Vitonnix has expanded into pet health through Vetonnix, an oral nutritional spray range for companion animals. That initial portfolio targets skin and coat health, calming support, multivitamins, growth and development, and bone and joint health.
The round is a notable one for its cap table as much as its size, pairing a domestic institutional investor in Inflection Point Ventures with a set of celebrity and clinician angels. For a company that has spent years on formulation and regulatory groundwork rather than consumer marketing, the stated priority of building a growth engine and widening distribution suggests the next phase will be about converting that groundwork into shelf space across the markets where it has already filed.
