TailBlaze Longevity Secures $300K in Pre-Seed Funding for Pet Nutrition Innovation
TailBlaze Longevity has raised $300K in pre-seed funding led by Comma Capital to launch its new wet dog food line, HeartPour.
TailBlaze Longevity, a startup dedicated to enhancing canine nutrition and longevity, has successfully raised $300K in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by US-based venture capital firm Comma Capital. The funds will primarily be utilized to launch HeartPour, a new line of wet dog food, while also facilitating team expansion in Ahmedabad and increasing outreach to pet parents across India.
Founded in August 2025 by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, TailBlaze Longevity aims to extend the lives of dogs by 3 to 5 years through specially formulated high-protein and low-carbohydrate nutritional products. The startup’s flagship product, HeartPour, has been developed over four years of research and development and combines high-protein ingredients with superfoods, incorporating a unique Ayurvedic blend that includes curcumin, black pepper, parsley, amla, and tulsi.
In addition to HeartPour, TailBlaze has innovated a proprietary technology called FreshTail, which enables the production of shelf-stable fresh meals. The startup boasts a diverse product portfolio of over 200 items, covering organic dog food, natural treats, grooming essentials, and accessories. Notably, TailBlaze operates on a WhatsApp-first commerce model and also sells products through quick commerce platforms like Blinkit and BBNow.
The pet nutrition market is burgeoning, with competitors like Right4Paws, which focuses on whole-food nutrition backed by science, and Benny’s Bowl, which is developing functional pet foods targeted at specific health issues. With the recent funding, TailBlaze Longevity is well-positioned to carve out its niche in this growing segment, focusing on quality and longevity for pets.
As the pet care industry continues to evolve, innovative startups like TailBlaze are leading the charge in redefining how pet nutrition is approached, making this funding round a significant step in their journey.
