Comparables.ai banks $6M seed to widen its AI deal-sourcing platform
Pragmatech and Araya Ventures co-led the round, with Purple Ventures, Gorilla Capital, hi5 Ventures and Somersault Ventures also participating.
Comparables.ai, the developer of an AI-powered market intelligence platform for dealmakers, has secured $6 million in seed funding, the company announced on October 6, 2026.
The round was co-led by Pragmatech and Araya Ventures. Additional investors participating included Purple Ventures, Gorilla Capital, hi5 Ventures and Somersault Ventures. The company did not disclose a valuation.
Comparables.ai provides an AI-native platform for private and public market intelligence. The product is built for corporate development teams, private equity firms, M&A advisors and investment banks, and is designed to help them discover acquisition targets and market opportunities by aggregating global company financials, group structures and transaction data. The company sits in the fintech software category.
The startup was founded in 2026 by Niko Nalli, Markus Vesala, Martin Kangasniemi and Muhammad Ammad-ud-din, making this an unusually early raise for a team that has already assembled a named investor syndicate of six funds.
The capital will support the company's expansion into new markets and the continued development of its core artificial intelligence engine. Specifically, Comparables.ai plans to use the new funding to support multi-market rollouts and to further strengthen the capabilities of that engine.
The seed round lands in a dealmaking technology segment where incumbents have long relied on static industry classification codes and legacy databases to surface targets and comparables. Comparables.ai positions its AI engine as the layer that reads and interprets company information directly, an approach aimed at the corporate development, private equity, advisory and investment banking workflows that underpin M&A sourcing and valuation work.
The company's website is comparables.ai. No further terms of the financing were disclosed.
