AI Tutoring Startup Arivihan Draws $10M Series A From Accel, Prosus
The Series A was co-led by existing backers Accel and Prosus Ventures, with $200K of the round coming from GSF-associated angels Dinesh Chandra Agrawal, Dinesh Gulati and Rajesh Sawhney.
AI-driven edtech startup Arivihan has raised $10M in a Series A round co-led by existing backers Accel and Prosus Ventures, the company said on September 30, 2026.
The two institutional investors together infused $10 Mn, while the remaining $200K came from angel investors associated with accelerator GSF — Dinesh Chandra Agrawal, Dinesh Gulati and Rajesh Sawhney.
Founded in 2022, Arivihan builds an AI tutoring product that delivers interactive video lectures, doubt resolution and study plans without any human involvement. That fully automated model is the pitch: instead of staffing live instructors, the platform leans on software to run the teaching loop end to end.
According to a statement from the company, the fresh capital will be used to expand its geographical footprint across India, launch new offerings, strengthen its AI stack and scale marketing.
Including the current round, Arivihan has raised $15 Mn to date.
The raise lands in a sector that has spent several years working through a post-pandemic contraction in Indian edtech. Investor appetite has returned selectively, and the opening that has drawn capital back is AI — which promises to cut the cost of delivering instruction at scale and to make personalised learning cheaper to produce. Arivihan's automation-first approach places it squarely in that thesis, and its backers are betting on the same premise they have already funded once.
The round also reflects a pattern increasingly common in Indian growth-stage deals: a mix of institutional capital doing the heavy lifting and a smaller angel tranche from operators and accelerator networks attached to the same syndicate. In Arivihan's case, roughly 98% of the cheque came from Accel and Prosus, with the GSF-linked angels filling out the remainder.
What the company has not disclosed is how many students it serves, what it charges, or how it measures learning outcomes on the platform — the metrics that will ultimately determine whether automated tutoring can hold up against the retention record of traditional coaching. With $15 Mn now behind it, Arivihan has runway to test that question across a wider slice of India than it has reached so far.
