TDK Ventures Leads EtherealX's $21M Series A as India's Space Tech Deals Pile Up
TDK Ventures led the $21M Series A for the Karnataka-based space tech company, one of three space-related rounds tracked in StartupTalky's late-December funding table.
EtherealX, a space technology company headquartered in Karnataka, has raised $21M in Series A funding led by TDK Ventures, according to StartupTalky's Indian startup funding tracker.
The round appears in the tracker's December 2025 table covering deals logged between 16 December and 29 December, where EtherealX is listed alongside 60-plus other Indian startups that closed financing during the fortnight. The entry records the company's sector as Space Tech, its base as Karnataka and TDK Ventures as the lead investor.
The tracker does not disclose what EtherealX intends to do with the proceeds, and no valuation for the round is listed.
The raise lands in a stretch of the calendar that was unusually active for Indian space and aerospace companies. Digantara, another Karnataka-based space tech firm, closed a $50M Series B led by SBI Investment in the same window. SISIR Radar, based in West Bengal and classified under Aerospace, Maritime & Defence Tech with a space tech focus, raised a $7M Series A led by 360 One. Together the three deals represent roughly $78M of the period's disclosed space-related capital.
That cluster sits inside a broader late-December funding wave that skewed toward large late-stage and debt rounds. Shriram Finance's $4.42B post-IPO raise from MUFG dwarfs the rest of the table, while True Balance took $75M in conventional debt from Community Investment Management and Sensa Core raised $72M in private equity from Motilal Oswal. MoEngage closed a $57M Series F led by ChrysCapital.
Within the Series A cohort specifically, EtherealX's $21M is among the larger checks of the period, trailing only PowerUp Money's $12M and Qucev's $15M Series Bs when compared against the immediate neighbours in the table, and matching several rounds raised by far more mature consumer and fintech businesses.
TDK Ventures' participation marks another instance of a strategic investor backing Karnataka's space cluster, which now accounts for a growing share of the country's early-stage aerospace deal flow.
