Nat Habit Secures ₹142 Cr in Series C to Expand Offline Presence
Nat Habit has raised ₹142 Cr ($15M) in Series C funding, aiming to grow its store presence from 20,000 to 200,000 over three years.
Nat Habit, a direct-to-consumer personal care startup, has successfully raised ₹142 crore (approximately $15 million) in an all-primary Series C funding round, with Trident Growth Partners as the lead investor. This funding marks a significant step for Nat Habit as it seeks to broaden its consumer base beyond its traditional higher-income buyers. The startup plans to adapt its product pack sizes and marketing communications as part of this strategy.
With this new influx of capital, Nat Habit has set ambitious goals to expand its offline distribution network, targeting an increase from around 20,000 stores to an impressive 200,000 stores within the next three years. Additionally, the company is venturing into modern trade channels and plans to invest in new product categories, further diversifying its offerings.
The personal care market, especially in the direct-to-consumer space, has become increasingly competitive, with various brands vying for consumer attention. Nat Habit's strategy to scale its offline presence is a move to capture a larger market share and engage with consumers who prefer in-store shopping experiences. By enhancing its visibility in retail locations, Nat Habit intends to foster brand loyalty and attract a wider audience.
As the D2C landscape continues to evolve, Nat Habit is positioning itself to not only retain its existing customer base but also to appeal to a broader demographic. The funding will enable the startup to implement its growth strategies effectively, paving the way for a stronger presence in the consumer market.
