InstaAstro Draws $12M Series A To Push AI And Pooja Services Beyond India
Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund led the $12M round, which InstaAstro will use for AI capabilities and spiritual commerce as overseas markets already contribute 25% of revenue.
InstaAstro, an online astrology startup, has raised $12M in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund. The capital is earmarked to accelerate growth and product development at the company, which operates an AI-led astrology and spiritual wellness platform.
The raise lands as InstaAstro scales that platform across India and international markets, with overseas markets already contributing 25% of revenue, according to the announcement.
On the use of proceeds, InstaAstro plans to invest in AI capabilities, pooja seva and spiritual commerce. It also intends to expand its multilingual offerings and its presence across regional and global markets.
The three buckets sketch the shape of the bet. AI capabilities touch the consultation and content layer that sits at the top of the funnel; pooja seva covers the devotional services the platform offers; and spiritual commerce is the transactional layer wrapped around both. The 25% overseas revenue contribution indicates the international push is already generating money rather than sitting on a roadmap.
Multilingual expansion effectively does double duty here. It serves India's regional-language users at home and gives the platform a second lever abroad, where demand for astrology and spiritual services is not confined to English-speaking audiences.
The announcement did not disclose a valuation or any further terms of the round.
