Adara Ventures backs Goodweek's governed-AI pitch for SMBs with $12M
The Paris- and Strasbourg-based company will use the capital to accelerate sales and expand into Latin America and Asia, with Bpifrance among its supporters.
Goodweek, a startup based in Paris and Strasbourg, has raised $12M to expand an AI management platform built specifically for small and medium-sized businesses.
The company sells a centralized governance layer that lets SMBs manage AI models, user access, data security and associated costs across their organizations. It consolidates models including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini into a single governed interface, with the stated aim of making AI tools more secure, accessible and cost-effective for SMB employees while giving IT departments oversight and data protection.
Adara Ventures led the round. It was joined by Anamcara Capital, BGV, BY Venture Partners, CentraleSupélec Venture, FJ Labs, Interlace Ventures and True Ventures, with support from Bpifrance. The funding was announced on October 15, 2026.
The $12M is earmarked for accelerating sales efforts and moving into new geographic markets, with a specific focus on Latin America and Asia. That plan builds on what the company describes as a period of rapid growth; Goodweek says it has already established a presence in several international markets.
The company was founded by CEO Guillaume Nominé and CFO Nicolas Stehle.
Goodweek's pitch speaks to a widening gap inside smaller organizations. Employees have adopted generative AI tools largely on their own, while the departments responsible for software budgets, access rules and data protection often have little visibility into which models are being used, by whom, or at what cost. Goodweek's answer is consolidation: rather than managing separate subscriptions and permissions for each model, an IT team gets one place to control usage and spend.
That framing puts the startup in a crowded field of vendors courting SMBs with AI governance and cost-management offerings, but it also gives it a defined wedge — the promise of governance as a prerequisite for wider AI adoption rather than an afterthought. Whether the sales push into Latin America and Asia converts that argument into revenue across fragmented local markets will be the test the new capital buys Goodweek time to answer.
